Manufacturing Process Of Goodyear Tyres

Goodyear tyres are a type of tyre that are designed to improve the handling and braking ability of a car. They're also known for their long life and high levels of safety.

Their companies produce both types of tyres, but their primary focus is on synthetic rubber tyres. They make them using a variety of different technologies, including air-filled, foam-filled and radial construction. Goodyear wheel continues to develop innovative products that help make driving safer and more comfortable for motorists around the world.

Step 1: Raw Materials acquisition

The raw materials for the Goodyear tyre production process are obtained from suppliers who stock natural rubber and other necessary materials. The company also purchases synthetic rubber, adhesives, and other additives.

Step 2: Prototypes and testing

Prototypes of new tyres are created in order to test their performance under various conditions. Once these prototypes are approved, they are produced in large quantities and sold to customers.

Step 3: Production Line

Once a customer orders a batch of tyres, the production line begins with the production of natural rubber bladders. These bladders are then inflated with air, vulcanized (heated until the rubber liquefies), and cut into desired sizes.

Step 4: Specialty Tires

Some Goodyear tyres produce heat or noise when driven on certain surfaces such as ice or gravel roads. To meet these specific demands, speciality tyres are manufactured and sold separately.
